SEE IT: George Mason’s Jalen Haynes lands on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays

Saturday was a pretty big day for George Mason forward Jalen Haynes.

The 6-foot-8 big man tallied only 9 points in a 77-70 win over UMass, but one bucket drew the eyes of many.

Midway through the first half, Haynes drove down the lane and rose for a one-handed dunk — ultimately landing at the No. 3 spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays.

The senior ended the night going 4-of-6 from the field and 1-of-3 from the free-throw line. Haynes also added in a game-high 8 rebounds.

George Mason ultimately bested the Minutemen behind Darius Maddox and his 18 points, pushing the Patriots’ record in conference play to 3-1.

The Patriots return to the court on Wednesday, traveling to Dayton for a bout with the Flyers.
